Dating from 2009, this Roberto Cavalli maxi dress captures the house’s late-2000s approach to glamour: body-conscious, graphic and deliberately excessive. Leopard, zebra and python motifs collide across the fluid jersey, separated by contrast zigzag detailing that gives the print its distinctive patchwork effect.

The silhouette is constructed with a deep wrap-style V-neckline, long fitted sleeves and asymmetric ruching through the waist and hip. A leopard-print panel crosses the front before falling into an elongated sash, finished with delicate gold-tone charms. At the gathered hip, a crystal-detailed gold-tone RC monogram provides the final, characteristically Cavalli flourish.

Cut from 100% viscose jersey, the dress has a soft, flexible drape that follows the body without feeling rigid. The full maxi length balances the plunging neckline and mixed-animal print, creating a silhouette that is dramatic without becoming costume.
