Dolce & Gabbana’s idea of summer has never involved restraint.
Part of the house’s current collection, this cotton-poplin dress is covered in a vivid red Majolica print inspired by the decorative language of traditional Italian ceramics. The symmetrical scrollwork, painted florals and ornamental borders have been deliberately positioned across the garment, creating the effect of a ceramic tile composition wrapped around the body.
The halterneck bodice crosses elegantly at the neckline before fastening with long ties at the back. Its open-back construction and narrow waist cut-out create the illusion of a coordinated two-piece, while the structured A-line skirt keeps the silhouette clean and sharply defined. A concealed back zip completes the fit.
