From the rare Fall/Winter 2007 Samourai line, these bordeaux calf-leather sandals twist fine leather cords around a sculptural snake ornament. Beautiful, slightly dangerous and very far from sensible footwear.

A rare archive design from Christian Dior’s Fall/Winter 2007 Samourai line, created during John Galliano’s tenure at the house.
Crafted in glossy bordeaux calf leather, the sandals are constructed from layers of fine corded straps that wrap around the foot and gather across the vamp. At the centre sits a sculptural dark resin snake, coiled into an elongated loop and textured with individually defined scales.
The narrow ankle straps fasten with silver-tone buckles, while the squared open toe and slim 10 cm stiletto heel sharpen the otherwise intricate, almost jewellery-like construction. Inside, the burgundy leather insoles are finished with ornate silver Christian Dior emblems—a distinctly Galliano-era detail.
The original box label identifies the model as Dior Samourai I, colour Rouge Bordeaux Brill, crafted in veau, or calf leather. The original Dior box, branded dust bag and spare heel tips are included.
Not merely vintage Dior heels, but a documented piece of Galliano’s highly collectable accessories era.

Condition
Good vintage condition with visible signs of previous wear consistent with age. Surface wear, rubbing and marks are present across the leather insoles and soles. Protective rubber has been added beneath the forefoot.
The original Dior box, Dior dust bag and a pair of spare heel tips are included. The box shows signs of storage and age. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description.
